Dave Allen

Chief Executive Officer

Dave is an experienced accountant, who has operated in the Jersey business environment for the past 12 years. Prior to that he had extensive London experience in the financial service industry as well as having operated throughout a number of different countries within the SADC region of Africa. Dave is a founding shareholder of ICECAP Partners Limited which set up one of the first private carbon credits funds and in parallel developed a significant principal trading business in joint venture with a leading energy trading company. He is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the South African and ICAEW institutes.

Charles Le Cornu

Co Founder

Charles has spent the majority of his career in senior management and leadership positions. Prior to ICECAP, Charles held senior positions at a number of fiduciary institutions (Head of Private Equity and Head of Private Debt & Capital Markets), having overall responsibility for large parts of their businesses across EMEA. As such, Charles has an in-depth knowledge of funds and corporate business areas giving him unique insight into the provision of sophisticated and personalised service to clients. Charles trained with KPMG and is a qualified chartered accountant.

Declan Tarpey

Director

Declan is a lawyer with over 35 years of experience. Declan was Managing Partner of Taylor Wessing (as it is now called), one of the leading London international law firms, whose responsibilities included overall responsibility for the firm’s unregulated trust company business. Declan is a founding shareholder of ICECAP Partners Limited which set up one of the first private carbon credits funds and in parallel developed a significant principal trading business in joint venture with a leading energy trading company.

Neil Hagelthorn

Managing Director, Mauritius

Neil is an experienced accountant, who has operated in the Mauritian and Dubai business environments for the past 9 years. Prior to that he had extensive London experience in the banking industry as well as having operated throughout a number of different countries within the SADC region of Africa. He has a BCom from the University of Cape town and holds an MBA with distinction from the CASS business school at the City University, London.

Robert Minty

Chief Operating Officer

Robert is an experienced commercial and finance professional and a qualified chartered accountant. He was born and educated in Jersey, qualifying with PWC on the island. His audit experience included trust company and fund businesses on the island. Robert also has extensive knowledge of cross-jurisdictional structures in Jersey and Africa through his 10 years of experience within the ICECAP group. Robert has spent the last two years assisting a number of UHNW private family offices establish operating businesses overseas.

Mark Nisbet

Legal Counsel

Mark qualified as an English solicitor in 2007 and an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 2009 and has previously worked in the corporate and banking groups for top tier Jersey law firms, Carey Olsen and Bedell Cristin. Mark has over 15 years experience of Jersey company law, security law and regulatory matters and has acted for leading UK law firms and financial institutions. He has a broad range of expertise with Jersey structures including companies, trusts, limited partnerships, funds and debt listings on The International Stock Exchange.

Richard White

Head of Risk and Compliance

Richard is an experienced compliance professional who has held senior compliance and anti-money laundering roles in a number of Jersey-based financial service groups and is an expert in Jersey regulatory requirements. He was born and educated in Jersey.

James "Alick" Mcintosh

Founding Shareholder

Alick was born and educated in Zimbabwe and South Africa. He has over 25 years as an entrepreneur setting up companies from scratch in the commodity, logistics and renewables sector not just in the UK/Jersey but throughout Africa. He currently resides in Jersey.
